Tuesdays at Touchdown are always a good time and always includes last Tuesday. We had 7 squads join up and duke it out for our crown. Next week, at round 2 question 1, draw a skull and crossbones for your art bonus. The first half got started off with points a plenty but every squad kept up with the pace. Team AJ however was the pace setter, followed by The Mitchells . As we progressed through the second half, some teams rose up the standings and some teams fell down. The one constant was that Team AJ stayed on top and they looked to keep that going in the final. But they knew they would have to make a hefty wager and nail the final to secure victory… which is exactly what they did! Tuesdays at Touchdown are always a good time and we did it again folks. We had 6 squads in the house tonight and everybody was on the level. Even the new teams looked sharp and with it from the jump. Next week, at round 2 question 1, draw a flying buffalo for your art bonus. We got things started with some toss ups and some socials. Plenty of points were being put on the board but nobody was lighting it up more than Safe Word Tomahawk who grabbed an early lead despite missing the OTB. In the second, we had a split house on many of our questions with the top answers being split by a single vote many times. By the end, Southern Fried had pulled into the top spot. But we had a rockin final question which more than one team was able to identify. So a bold wager would win the day. And even though they were new to the game, they knew how to win.
