Touchdown - Survey Sez - 03/12/24

  Last week at Touchdown it was a good time for all. Welcome to team Sharks Don't Wear Pants, thank you for coming out to play and we look forward to seeing you guys again soon. Before we even began the drinks were flowing and laughs were heard around the room as we prepared for another fun game of Survey Sez. 
Courtney's Escorts took the extra points for the on time bonus with their hilarious answer to the top thing overheard at the Oscars this year. "Who's getting slapped tonight?" had the whole place laughing. Our jokester team might change their name every week but the humor is always present. It's always a good way to get the game started.
At the halftime our usual champions had top spot with a small lead over Salt n Peppa, who will hopefully be able to pick up the bonus points for drawing the super secret art bonus next week. This week (3/19) draw a martini glass to get those points. (2 colors for 10 points - 1 color for 6 points) Be sure to check the newsletter guys, those points can absolutely make a difference in Survey Sez. I've got something special lined up for the on time bonus question song next week. Have that camera ready, Chris.
When we finished round 6 Reel Wet had extended their lead to a comfortable place and despite being the only team to nail the final question, they opted to err on the side of caution with a null point wager. which secured them yet another win. Congratulations guys and we'll miss you all next week. I guess we'll see who can scoop up the top prize in their absence.


We always look forward to seeing new and returning players at Touchdown for Survey Sez. I can't wait to see you all there next Tuesday.

Tuesdays at Touchdown are always a good time and that was certainly true this Tuesday. We had a solid 9 squads vying for our title and a great mix of regulars with some sharp new teams.  Next week, at round 2 question 1, draw a Ninja for your art bonus.   The first half kicked off with a solid round of laughs and a fair amount of points across the board. But nobody got off to a faster start then halftime leaders, 2000 and Late . As we moved through half number 2, the standings got shaken up a bit, but 2000 and Late only fell to 2 nd place behind Disorder .  Now with a group like this, you can usually bet somebody will nail the final and most teams will likely bet a hefty amount, but it doesn’t always play out that way. On a night like this, you might get one team correctly identifying the final question and that may be the only team who wagered 0 points. And in that case, you end up with…. well, Disorder! At the top as our new champions. ...

Touchdown - Survey Sez - 5/28/24

Well we had a fun night last week at Touchdown Survey Sez...despite lighting failures lol. Chics and Dudes started us off with a great answer to the on time bonus question.  In round 2 I got to see some very nice pictures of fire hydrants. Next week to get those extra points for the super secret round 2 art bonus draw me an orange. (2 colors for 10 points - 1 color for 6 points) By the halftime Chics and Dudes had gotten themselves into first place and were looking to finish out the game on top. We had a lot of laughs along the way. So many silly answers to the questions. At the end of round 6, Salt n Peppa had gotten themselves into the top spot and it was looking like they could win for a second week in a row. As usual, the final question stumped everyone and the teams' wagers decided the winner. Congratulations to Salt n Peppa for a second win in a row! Chics and Dudes managed to secure second place and took home the second place prize.  As always, we had a great time last week ...

Touchdown- Survey Sez- 3/25/25

Tuesdays at Touchdown are always a good time. We had a great crowd with 9 teams playing and everyone was in great spirits.  Draw a Flower  next week for your art bonus.  The first half was hotly contested and the lead was claimed early by our defending champions, The Terminated , followed closely by  Safe Word Tomahawk. The second half saw a ton of scoring and  Safe Word Tomahawk  jumped to the top of our leaderboard, trailed by The Super Hip Incredible Team.  In the end, a bold wager was required to claim our trophy and that is just what we got from The Super Hip Incredible Team and that's why they're the champs! 1.  The Super Hip Incredible Team  ($40 Prize) 2.
